Thanks eUKHost, just shows that you do listen to your customers and respond accordingly.

Please could you update this thread once all the work is completed so I can compare for any noticeable stability increase.

One last thing, will the allotting of more RAM require a server reboot. If so please could you ensure this is out of hours, as to not impact any website hostings.

Thanks again

just wanted to update everyone.

we took the offer of a new VPS Hosting setup and so far 'fingers crossed' we've had no problems, memory usage is around the same but its been solid as a rock, the server definately 'feels' different.

to add to Morledge's comment, we're very happy with the way the issue has been resolved, was just a frustrating process getting to this point.

I came in last nite to find our VPS Hosting...

with more memory! I checked the plans and yep, its not a mistake, the memory on each of the three plans has been increased with 512 being the minimum.

I must say bravo EUKhost!

I'm having more severe mail problems than TaintedWoods originally reported, specifically the MailEnable POP Service is down frequently (though the VPS Hosting has not been down since 20 days ago). I started keeping records of the mail problem 18 days ago, and since then I've had to start the mail service once every day except three, and twice on five days.

The website hosting is ASP.Net based, with SQL Server Express. Support said I need more memory.

I notice that the W-VPS Hosting-01 plan now advertises 512MB RAM, and that Mark said existing VPS Hosting customers will be given this increase also. Plesk still indicates I have 384MB RAM, but perhaps this upgrade will take more time, and then I will have 512MB?

Hello,

Yes, according to new changes we will increase the memory of all the VPS Hosting's (Windows), but it’s not possible to increase the memory for the existing VPS Hosting's as the Node on which your VPS Hosting is hosted is already full, so we have to move your VPS Hosting to new hardware node. Just send a mail to <a href="http://www.eukhost.com/vps-...a>@eukhost.com if you want to move your VPS Hosting to new Hardware Node. Also IP's of your VPS Hosting will be changed.

If I request the VPS Hosting be moved to a new Hardware Node, I would probably move the website hosting files myself. However, would Support take care of any admin issues (if any) relating to the website hosting being assigned a new IP?

Later, after this move, if I wished to upgrade the VPS Hosting plan to W-VPS Hosting-02/03, would it again be required to move the website hosting to a new Hardware Node?

Hello,

We will create a brand new VPS Hosting for you on the new server as your both VPS Hosting will be running so that you can move your website hostings and data; also this will lower the downtime of website hostings at the time of DNS propagation.

If you upgrade your plan to W-VPS Hosting-02/03 we will upgrade it on the same server without any downtime and data loss.

Hello,

There are many reasons for mounting of VPS Hosting like high resource usage etc. If the VPS Hosting is down you can restart it from Virtuozzo Power Panel.
Also we can move your VPS Hosting to a new Hardware Node on which you will get more memory. Please send a mail to <a href="http://www.eukhost.com/vps-...a>@eukhost.com if you want to change the Host Server.
