Default Windowx VPS Hosting - IMAP?

Hi

I purchased a Windows VPS Hosting a few days ago for testing as I want to get into ASP.net and MSSQL. Plus the idea of moving my customers over to it too.

I notice it's using MailEnable Standard edition which does not have IMAP. Unfortunately I have a few customers who use/need webmail, especially as a couple of them love roundcube since I installed that on the Linux VPS Hosting.

I never thought for a second that IMAP facilities would no be available

Am I stuffed as far as IMAP goes on the Windows VPS Hosting or do you have any shiny new Windows VPS Hosting servers which do have IMAP support which I can migrate onto please?

If not, then my ventures of Windows VPS Hosting's will be shorted lived

Hi,

If you are using Plesk then your customers can access their webmail panel through 'http://webmail.customerdomain.com' - this will then lead them to the Horde webmail panel.

If your customers require IMAP access still then I recommend HMail Server, which is located at http://www.hmailserver.com. You can use HMail Server as stand alone, but can also be easily integrated into Plesk - it supports all the main email protocols include IMAP.

Horde mail works but there's no sent folders. But most of all, my customers love roundcube

I'll have a look at HMail, but I'm not sure if I fancy ripping out the mail guts (which work) and completely killing things off but I'll have a nose at it.
