how to install php curl and php ssl

hi been trying to install whmcs on my new dedicated server, went through the install process of whmcs and it says i need curl with ssl support, been told to type this in shell and this is what i get:

root@home [~]# yum -y install php-curl php-ssl
Loading "installonlyn" plugin
Setting up Install Process
Setting up repositories
repos.hostnoc.net/centos/5.0/updates/i386/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 4] IOError: <urlopen error (-2, 'Name or service not known')>
Trying other mirror.
Error: Cannot open/read repomd.xml file for repository: updates-burstnet
root@home [~]#

please help me as this is urgent!

Hi Adam,

Can you resolve hostnames outside of yum i.e. are you able to ping other sites from your server? I guess the problem could be with the resolvers. I would request you to email us at dedicated [at] eukhost.com with your server IP so that we can take a look and update you accordingly for the issue you are having.
