hello, i am newbie

I want to run ftp server on my dedicated server, what is the best 3rd party application allows me to do that or script ...ect?

Sorry, my knowledge very limited i appreciate someone guide me from the begining...

Hello Nguyen,

Your server already has FTP pre-installed on it since you use cPanel. If you want it to be a server from where members can download files after logging in, then you would have to allow ftp access to all such members.

Since your server has WHM installed on it, all you have to do is login to WHM, go to the "Service Configuration" section and switch/configure the FTP server according to your requirement. You have two options viz Pure-FTP & Pro-FTP.

i understand that. What i mean is runing ftp server 3rd party application or php script upload to my public_html directory and make it runs just like WebFTP Server. (apache) GUI

Then i can set permission add/remove user limit upload and download Quote just exactly like Serv-U ftp server in my local PC. I hope you understand what i mean, thanks.
