Mapping my VPS to my Mac

Really enjoying this Ruby on Rails development at the moment and am looking for a way to mount my VPS Hosting straight from my mac so I can use Eclipse directly on the files on the server without FTP worries.

I presume as they are both UNIX based this can be done?

I followed the advice in the blog and changed the ssh port and enabled only type 2 ssh - will this cause any problems with the mounting?

This wont cause any problems but the keys need to be authorized by the systems for each other.
