One of my users have problem receiving his email. Outlook express connects to the server, starts downloading the first email - and stops. After a while it times out with the error "0x800ccc01". My user is using SPAMFighter with OE, which he updated yesterday (but he raceived emails until about 10.37 this morning).

A Google search shows:
"0x800CCC01 INVALID CERTIFICATE CONTENT
Get your certificate re-issued by your authority server"

What's unclear for me is if it's referring to a certificate on my server, ogr on my users PC (knowing that MS releases root certificates now and then).

Does anyone know?

This seems to be due to the Anti-Virus or Spam filter that your user has got on his machine. Ask him to disable spam fighter and then check if it works.

We've not changed anything on any of our servers recently so there should not not be any certificate related problem. You are most welcome to open a ticket if problem continues even after disabling spam fighter.
