Q.1 what location is the data centre (don't need the full address)
Ans :- Our Data center is based in Maidenhead ( Berkshire ).
Q. 2 Is physical access granted if needed?
Ans :- Physical access is not available, but you can request KVM session as and when needed.
Q. 3 Is it a completley managed service, so if the os or cpanel goes tits up, do you guys sort it out, or is it up to us (with your help if needed?
Ans :- All our
web hosting plans including
Dedicated Servers are fully managed by us. Any sort of problem with OS or Control panel will be fixed by our staff members. You can contact our technical team to get security settings updated on your server as per your requirements.
Q. 4 I notice out of the box it only comes with one drive, should this be considered an issue, or should one go for a seconded on raid1?
Ans :- All our
Dedicated Servers excluding E4500 are branded Dell Servers. We've never had any sort of HDD problems with our Dell servers so you should not be concerned about RAID option if you consider x3065 or any other
Dedicated Server. You can additionally order one of our Remote Backup plans to maintain daily or weekly backup of your server on one of our remote backup servers.
Q. 5 What is the turn around time for HW failure?
Ans :- Hardware replacement will be done within 30 - 60 minutes.
