Default Plesk Templates

My question here is about Plesk templates and quotas - it's all very confusing. First off, what's the different between a domain template and a client template? Second question, when adding values for templates there are so many different quotas: what's the difference between them: there's database quotas, disk space quotas, mailbox quotas (2 of them) 1 is in kb, the other is in MB <-- that's a very confusing one, then it asks you for physical hosting quotas just when you though that you had got it all done.

Please could someone answer my questions as this has left me very confused.

Consider checking this manual for plesk, I hope this may help you to sort out the problem that you're currently facing. getsomesupport.com/manuals/index.html

Here is a brief explanation of the different login levels in Plesk

Administrator – The highest individual server level login which allows web hosting administrators to set up and manage all system items.

Client/Reseller – Second Level (Tier II) login account where the users are given domain creation rights from the System Administrator. Clients can administer to groups of domains using a single login.

Domain Owner – These third level (Tier III) individual domain owner accounts with predetermined permission sets and interface for single domain administration.

Mail User – The fourth level (Tier IV) individual mail account which allows the user to log in to their own private interface and manage passwords, spam filters, anti-virus settings and much more.

The Administrator can create different templates & resellers from their interface. For instance in eUKhosts's case, our administrators would create different templates by the name of copper, bronze, silver & gold (the shared hosting plans). These templates are then assigned to the new users created as per the hosting package they signed up for. The same way resellers (clients) are also created through the Administrator interface. Plesk allows only one Administrator account to be created.

The client (resellers) in turn can create their own plesk templates( hosting plans), which they would be able to assign to the accounts they create from within their own plesk panel interface.

nice explanation, but as a reseller I get annoyed at having the eukhost templates in the template section. These cannot be deleted by me either. In an odd way it makes the reseller area feel somehow second-hand. I you do wish to include eukhost templates as a guide for new resellers, it would be nice if these templates can be removed by the reseller if they're not wanted.
