When adding Smarterstats to domains I get Object variable or With block variable not set

Problem

When adding Smarterstats to a domain in Helm, it fails and I get this in the error log:

2004-02-02 01:59:47 Stats.AddStats Object variable or With block variable not set
2004-02-02 01:59:47 Stats.IStat_Execute Object variable or With block variable not set
2004-02-02 01:59:47 CStatsInstal.InstalEx Object variable or With block variable not set

Solution

1.) Can you add domains into Smarterstats manually? If not, then Helm is will also fail as it calls the same functions within Smarterstats. Also note, if you are running Smarterstats Enterprise edition, you will need to add a server into Smarterstats before you can add domains. If you have tried all of the above, and still can't add domains manually into Smarterstats, you will need to speak to Smartertools.

2.) If the above doesn't apply, go into the Smarterstats service in Helm and re-enter the password you use to log into Smarterstats. Resave the service and try again.
