Thumbs up When I try to install AWStats or secured folders it fails and I gets error....

Post Applies for Helm

When I try to install AWStats or secured folders it fails and I get the following error in the logs: ' A string literal was not closed '

Problem

When I try to install AWStats, secured folders etc., I get the following errors in the logs:
-----------------------------------------
2004-07-10 02:53:57 Website.IWeb_Execute A string literal was not closed.
2004-07-10 02:53:57 CSecureFolder.CallMethodEx A string literal was not closed.
2004-07-10 02:53:57 CSecureFolder.InstallEx A string literal was not closed.
2004-07-10 03:00:37 Website.InstallSecureFolders A string literal was not closed.
2004-07-10 03:00:37 Website.IWeb_Execute A string literal was not closed.
2004-07-10 03:00:37 CSecureFolder.CallMethodEx A string literal was not closed.
2004-07-10 03:00:37 CSecureFolder.InstallEx A string literal was not closed.
-----------------------------------------

Solution

This suggests that the XML file that Helm uses as an interface to IIS has become corrupt.

- Go to C:\Helm.Config
- Delete any files in there.

The next time you use Helm, that file will be recreated and this issue will be fixed.
