Asp.Net Global.asax Url Rewriting

I'm using a function within global.asax to rewrite my url's using the Context.RewritePath() method. Whilst working fine on my testing server with no additional setup required it's not working on my windows hosting with Euk.

Investigation has shown that the url is searched for first, rather than calling the .net ISAPI, so if the url is not found the asp.net engine does not even run and the server throws back a 404 error.

Any ideas why the server is doing things this way?

Provide us the exact URL where you are getting the error. Also, you can submit a ticket from http://support.eukhost.com if you don't want to mention your domain name here

I wouldn't mind posting the url, but i'm still tweaking since deploying the application and i've got debug switched on!

Imagine:
www.domain.com/search/123.aspx
gets redirected to...
www.domain.com/search.aspx?q=123

I'm handling the rewrite perfectly in global.asax but it's not running on my euk hosting. i've had a look into it and i think that the following option is enabled in IIS Web Server...

This obviously will return a 404 as the files i'm searching for don't exist (as they're re-written).

I'll submit a ticket, but any ideas if this option is enabled on the Windows hosting by default?
