Default File Permissions

My site has a secure page which allows the uploading of files.

It writes to a folder in the web application root.

My uploader keeps breaking because permissions seem to be getting reset, which then denies write access to ASP.NET.

I've had to log it a few times with support and they always fix it but I'd like to be able to fix it myself.

i) the only user I have in Plesk for the ASP.NET account is ASPNET. I thought it was a different user for IIS6.

ii) Plesk seems to keep breaking when trying to view file permissions, and support have to keep restarting it. If it gets restarted I can then view permissions for a folder.

Every time my site upload starts working it breaks again and it's starting to bug one of my customers.

Anyone else having problems?

I think I might have found an answer to this one:

Setting permissions problem.
