MS SQL very slow

Hi

I've been trying to access my MS SQL Server database remotely from my desktop PC. I've noticed that in the last couple of days the response from the server has slowed to a crawl during the afternoons. I'm frequently getting timeouts. Seems to have been OK in mornings and evenings. Is anything happening on the server at this time which would cause the problem. Is this likely to be a permanent problem? My server is 87.117.234.246\sqlexpress

There's absolutely no problem on vigilant ( 87.117.234.246 ) but if you think that the performance is bad in the afternoon then open a ticket for our windows team from http://support.eukhost.com


give all necessary information that will help them to trace the problem. Our windows system admins have expertise in management of windows servers so lets hope that you feel happy with the response you receive from them. Let me clarify that it will take couple of hours for them to respond as windows team is completely different from linux support team but we strive to ensure perfect solution rather than instant response time.
