Multiple Domain Hosting

Hi,

I have signed up for windows gold plan which advertises at being able to host 20 domains. My questions are, how do I add additional domains and how much does each one cost? Do I just pay for the registration of the domain or do I have to pay for an additional hosting plan each time e.g. £50 for a windows gold hosting plan.

I must be missing something as I cannot seem to work this out. I have added a "new site" in my hosting Controller which seemed to add OK, but does that mean it has registered the new domain for me or do I need to do that somewhere else.

Any help would be much appreciated as I am pulling my hair out with this one.

Hello Morledge,

You will need to register new domains which you can purchase from our company or some other registrar. This domains need to be pointed to the nameservers sent to you in the welcome email. If the domains are registered from us then we will take care of everything.

Once this domains are pointed to nameservers of your windows server then you can add the domains from hosting controller. You have login details of your windows plan so you simply need to add the domains in hosting controller to host then and setup individual website hostings on this domains.

Thanks for that, that makes sense now.

Although now having a problem of when I try to upload via FTP.


"Has error -- Unable to add 'images/bot1.jpg' to the Web. 550 images/bot1.jpg: There is not enough space on the disk. "

We assign limited space to your shared account but you can modify the limits for your domain from your reseller control panel.

You will need to modify package of your main domain and assign a package with more space and bandwidth.

I do not have a reseller account I have a windows gold account???
