Default New to Plesk

Hi All,

Just decided to look into the windows reseller (we are normally a cpanel/whm user) and am sort of lost straight away when trying to creat a template (package) so that we can assign them to an account.

Does anyone have a good guide to create these templates ?

eg you can set limits, lets say 250mb for disk space, but further down asks you for physical space, does this go the same? does mail quotas get taken from the eg 250mb or is it a seperate allocation ?

performance... what goes there ??

if anyone has a screenshot of a package setup would they be able to send it to me so I can take a look ??

thanks in advance

Hello Lance,

Its very easy to create domain templates in Plesk control panel.
Following are the steps to create a domain template -

Once you login to Plesk control panel -

1] Click on "Home" present at left pane to go to the main dashboard.

2] Here click on the icon labeled as "Domain Templates", Domain Templates allow you to preconfigure as many hosting plans as you like. When it's time to setup a new hosting account simply choose a template and all the features and limits for the new account are automatically set up.

3] Click on "Add New Domain Template"

4] On the new page you have to fill up all the details. Give the new template a name,
continue by filling in all the values and features for the template (hosting plan) and hit Ok at the bottom.

As you can see, a new domain template has been successfully created on the main previous page, now while creating any domain under your account you can apply this newly created template.

You can contact us at windows@eukhost.com or live chat support if you face any trouble with the domain templates.

Hi Guys,

thanks for the prompt replies, gabriel, thanks also, I can find the template area but was confused about the entries as it seems to ask for space allocations in a few places.. this is what I needed to know about.

jack, i`ll look at that video shortly.. had a quick peek and it looks exactly what i need.

thanks again

Lance
