i have recently purchased the reseller windoes hosting plan.

I want to know how i can connect the MSSQL Server databse to Microsft SQL Server management studio from my computer.

Normally it will be the server name: Server IP\SQL Instance
Username: Your DB Username
Password: Your DB Password

You will know the Server IP, and the SQL Server instance should be there on the CP somewhere. Which server are you on?

Its windoes reseller plan. the Control panel is Plesk 8.1 the website hosting is physically hosted on 87.117.238.85 this server.

The control panel shows localhost\SQLEXPRESS:
no port address given.

i have tried connecting but connection wasn;t sucessfull.

Have you tried 87.117.238.85\SQLEXPRESS?

I wouldn't think eUK are using SQL Server Express on their servers, so I would wait for a response from an admin regarding this if using the string specified above fails.

However you can use following information to access your MSSQL database with SQL Server management studio:

Server : 87.117.238.85\SQLEXPRESS
User : Database_user
Pass : database_user_pass

if you are getting errors, then I would request you to let us know the details you are using and the error you receive.
