Ok, has there been a problem? I'm sure you wouldn't have scheduled a disk-check at peak time, so I'm assuming there's more to it. I've been otherwise happy with this new server.

No, that was not the case. It was a routine reboot that is done after any software installation however the server has unexpectedly gone under a disk check.

We can only wait until it has finished, to check why did it exactly go under a disk check.

Ok, first week after the new migration to the best server in shared hosting history... Seems fast, when it works! At the moment Plesk access is extremely sluggish to resolve and I have lost FTP access to ALL of my domains. One domain has had its wordpress installation wiped off the face of the earth despite all files being present and database being present. This isn't good.

I suggest going on livechat. It might be the FTP deamon needs to be restarted and they'll be able to do that for you.

There is obviously a lot of work going on on this server - all database-based sites have been down and FTP is still non existent. I did re-open my Dedicated Server ticket with support before I posted on this forum but have not yet had a reply - some hour and a half later. I accept that there are occasional problems with servers for one reason or another, but recently, no matter which server I am on, there are critical problems every few days.

As I say, go on livechat and ask to speak to a senior admin to find out what's going on. It will be the fastest way to get a response until Mark or Nick appears on here and will also be faster than waiting for an email reply.
