Default Using Ajax technology

Ajax is a unique technology that is designed to increase the interactivity of a website.By using this technology one can save loads of time while loading web-pages. Has anybody tried using Ajax for designing webpages ? I would certainly like to hear from your experiences about it.

Definitely, AJAX is hot right now. Well there are many advantages using AJAX. I have stated few below.

1. Open Standards Based
2. Best Usability and User Experience
3. Cross Browser and Cross Platform
4. Benefits of Regular Web Applications
5. Low Incremental Cost
6. Plays Nicely with Flex and Flash
7. Adoption Is Strong with Industry Leaders
8. Web 2.0
9. Agnostic Server Technology
10. XAML, XUL, XForms

The most important advantage of AJAX is that, it is based on open standards supported by many browsers and platforms.

Yep, Ajax has the power to make your website more persuasive and vibrant, adding to that google web tool kit that has now made creating AJAX applications much easier.

I have fiddled a little with it. I created a simple test page that upon entering text into a text field, went away and queried an Oracle database for matches, and populated a list box with the results on the same page. Although it was very fiddly making it work for all browsers, it looks fantastic and works brilliantly. Working out how to change the browsers DOM in browser independent way was a real pain!
