Hi there, I#m just starting to get reseller hosting going. I don't really want to (and don't have the time to) attract a lot of business online. I do it mainly for the few sites I've done for people.

However, I still want to offer some kind of automated billing, i.e. not missing billing dates, direct them to how to pay, change status to 'paid'.

I'm looking for some simple opensource solution that's relatively easy to install, and doesn't require that much time investment.

Can you suggest anything?

Fantastico has two billing software options within it called "AccountLab Plus" and " phpCOIN". You will get more details of phpCOIn here. AccountLab Plus details are given here

Installing them through Fantastico is very simple indeed.

Just to add to that AccountLab Plus is licensed per year. It's pretty cheap though. phpCoin is completely free.

Yes. WHMCS is cheap, but fantastic. very similar to our service as we charge nominal amount for shared hosting, but we give best service to our customers.

I would also recomend WHMCS, we have been using it for quite a while now, and a great package with some extras too (built in ticketing system) the support that is offered by Matt and the team is also great, bplus for a rather reasonable fee, they will also install it and can intergrate it into your existing web site hosting as well if you dont have the time.
