Default cPanel theme for client account

I thought I did it before. but can't seem to do it now.

I want to choose a cPanel theme for all my clients. When I'm in the cPanel for the reseller domain I get a drop-down on the top left where I can choose the theme for that account, but this isn't there for the client accounts.

This is not a bad thing, as, ideally, I don't want them to choose their theme, but provide one that I think is best and on brand of my service.

Could someone just point me into the right direction of how to change the theme for client accounts?

Many thanks.

Hi spirelli,

First of all, you will need to make sure that "RVSkin Manager" is installed on the sever on which your reseller account is hosted. cPanel themes can be changed/managed only if the "RVSkin Manager" is installed on the server. Then only you will be able to provide that option in client's cPanel interface.

Regards,
eUK-Victor

Hi Hardcore, thanks for the reply.

I've checked in WHM -- there seems to be no Skin Manager.

Apart from that, I don't really want to provide an option for the client to choose themselves. But I'd like to choose it for them as the choice that I think fits in best with my visual presence.

Also, does the fact that skins are available on the reseller domain's cPanel and not on the other accounts mean they are on different servers? Or is this normal?

RVSkin manager is an addon, and certainly doesn't need to be installed to use skins.

You can change the theme by modifying the users account via WHM, or by changing the package itself. If you set the theme to x3, you'll need to login to the users cPanel account to change the x3 style.
