Default Default webmail client

I recentlypurchased a Standard Linux Reseller package, and so far I'm very please. However I have one query about the webmail. I started a ticket, but it maybe that I haven't asked the right question because the reply didn't help.

When I go to www. domainname.com/webmail, I get a login which takes me to a page with a choice of Horde or SquirrelMail. Is there a way to set a default so you don't get this choice? I would like for clients not to have the choice, but just get one or the other depending on their requirements.

Yep.

You can do that. Just ask them to bookmark the URL which you get after you are logged in into horde or squirrelmail.

There's no other way to disable webmail for them. All you can do is hide the webmail URL and give them direct URL to respective webmail programs.

Could it be done with a redirect? Say if I set up a sub domain webmail.mydomain.com and pointed it to the URL?

you cannot make a subdomain with webmail.yourdomain.com. You can make it something like checkmail.yourdomain.com and setup redirect on it.

Thanks. That works with email.mydomain.com.

I assume that webmail is a reserved word? Are there any otheres that cannot be used as sub-domains?
