Default Eukhosting and Search Engine traffic loss

We have been hosting our websites initially on a US server and had very good results with our Search Engine traffic.. When we came accross a Eukhosting server in the UK , we were given to understand that a hosting on the UK server would do us good too. Hence we shifter our websites from the US server to the UK server . As soon as we have done this , all our websites hosted on the UK server have been ' killed' . The Search Engine traffic has been overnight reduced by 90 % .
We have checked our websites for whether they are being listed in the Spam database but they are not so.
We suspect that this loss of traffic could be attributed to Google penalising the bad neighbourhood .( we could be sharing server / IP with unscruplous websites / domains. )

Can somebody shed light on this ?

Our US server was vortech using the hsphere and now we are on EUKhosting using hostcontroller.

Help or we will perish!

I agree, it will just mean you have to check all of the threads, wasting your time, to get everybodys answer. We can see one thread just as clearly as another!!

Dear Ketansolid,

You have more than 500 words in your title tag which I've seen for the first time on some website. Title tag should contain 8 - 12 words max and you have made it bigger than content of the homepage.

If SE position is so important for you then you should know some basics of Search Engine Optimization. I am not trying to offend you but moving to UK will improve your rankings in google.co.uk but it wont make any difference in google.com or google.co.in ( your SE for google ).

Don't you get penalised for using that many words in the title by Google? I thought they saw that as an unfair tactic to use - just like flooding meta tags with non related keywords to your site?

I actually thought Google specifically prohibited this and saw it as a "black hat" tactic?

Not sure how the view it, but any search engine will penalise you for this.

Meta tags and title tags should be used correctly - otherwise you will notice the search engines complaining. Your website is the worst I've seen for bad use of meta and title tags and this is why search engines are not indexing you as you want them to.

Also if you are using unrealated terms just because they are popular when your website has nothing to do with these terms you are penalised, even though it isn't "prohibited" in any rules.

Don't forget Google manually review websites as well so they could have just come across yours and blacklisted the website for the improper use of title and meta tags and it may just be coincidence that they blacklisted the website as you changed server.

Contacting Google might shed some more light on your situation!

Changing host means the Name-Servers need to be replaced via domain control panel and hence the file names and structure of your website, backlinks etc is going to be remain same, so clear up your mind first, changing host is not going to affect the traffic and ranking. Also Page Ranking is going to be based on the onsite and offsite factors for the domain name that you hold and it has nothing to do with your IP address. I think you need to double check everything, some factors listed below, as there could be any reason that may have caused the problem;

- Your sites's pages might be unreachable
- Lack of links
_ Lot of spammer in your link networks
- Scrapper websites linking to you
- The domain prior history
- Duplicate content
_ you might have done any redirect that may have created trouble with google.
- Do you update your content regular?

Double check everything, do you use google sitemap? if yes what do the diagnostic stats say?
