Default Hotmail blocking email from CDOSYS

I have an ASP script that emails a forgotten password to a customer. It uses CDOSYS from a Windows reseller server. It works fine but not with hotmail. The script doesn't give an error, it says it has emailed the message, the problem is it never arrives. I have read on the internet that hotmaill can be a problem. Has anyone found a way around this? Alot of our customers use hotmail addresses and I need to fix it. Many Thanks.

Check your junk mail folder in Hotmail. Does your domain have an 'spf' record? If not, try adding one, then maybe hotmail will accept the mail, since it only accepts mail from domains with spf records since 1st oct. 2004.

Thats due to hotmail policy. Its quite difficult to get information from them about what exactly is not as per their policy.

You will need to consider some type of forwarding option to send your emails to hotmail account if you send emails using forms.
