Post New Reseller DNS

I have enthusiastically signed up for a new standard windows reseller account. I registered the domain name wwwliveserver.net as I wish to resell my hosting packages - and when the customer looks up the dns I don't want them to see eukhost. I want them to see 'generic' or anonymous name servers - eg. wwwliveserver.net. It doesnt actually have to be wwwliveserver.net, I just ordered that for this purpose.

Now I have 2 problems

1) http:// wwwliveserver.net/admin - does not resolve - ie. no login page ( i can access it through the ip address only)
2) Doing a DNS lookup gets eukhost.com

Summary: I want a generic/anonymous reselling service where my customers do not see eukhost at all.

Please help and many thanks

Helllo Simon,

Control panel login will work from http:// 87.117.234.246:8787 only and no other URL. You will need to use http:// 87.117.234.246:8787 only.

I have setup 2 private nameservers for you which are as following :-

ns1.wwwliveserver.net

ns2.wwwliveserver.net

You will need to give this 2 nameservers to your customers.

Thanks for your prompt reply - great service. The thing is that concerns me if you do a whois lookup from aany standard whois service you get EUKHOST as the domain, technical contacts etc. and the name servers as ns1.eukhost.com or something similar. I have to be totally unrelated to eukhost.com like similar resellers. How can this be achieved? it is of the utmost importance in my industry sector

Hi Simon,
Create a domain for yourself in your reseller panel, wwwliveserver.net. Then you and your customers can open http:// wwwliverserver.net/admin to login.

Get child nameservers (ns1 and NS2) registered for wwwliveserver.net, your domain registrar will have to do this for you. Gove them the IP addresses you got from euk to them. Then ask eUK do add your nameservers. I think mark has already done that for you. Then set your Nameservers for your own domain as well which means ns1.wwwliverserver.net for wwwliverserver.net .

Now in Hosting controller goto server settings and change DNS template to add your new nameservers.

This should resolve 90% f your problem.

The only hurdle that will remain is euk's name in whois lookup. Admain/biling/tech can be changed. sponsoring registrar - not sure yet. Let's see if then can do something about it.
