yep - my hosting controller has gone down too - just when I thought everything was settling down again and working well ... here comes another ticket...

there was talk a little while ago about eukhost changing over to Plesk from Hosting Controller - which in my view is a better system in so many ways. Hopefully Plesk will be available soon on this server as Hosting Controller has proved to be buggy it seems.

We have another high configuration Plesk server ready next to the existing .122 and .246 servers so if you get uncomfortable with hostingcontroller then you can request our billing department to setup new account for you on plesk and you can then get your data migrated on the new server.

This is something I would consider, although but for todays little outage of HC, everything has been working fine.
Would this migration cause any downtime? And presumably when you say 'new account' all usernames/passwords/billing etc would remain unaffected and I would simply see Plesk rather than HC when I login?
Would support be happier if ultimately everyone was using Plesk rather than HC?

I imagine it would be easier for support if everyone used one rather than the other - but that might not necessarily make them happier.

I assume both are provided so that you have a choice of what you would like to use. There might be someone out there that prefers Hosting Controller!

Reseller hosting features in hostingcontroller are much better. You should not be so happy thinking about Plesk as Plesk has got many limitations though it is stable and you rarely get such application pool errors with plesk but see the speed of hostingcontroller control panel.

did you ever see it showing any sort of delay while clicking here and there ?

I had considered many things before choosing hostingcontroller but I was not aware of application pool problems with. finally we've got everything sorted by hostingcontroller developers as they made many important changes in new versions as per guidelines of our team.

I can say that we've managed to bring many improvements in hostingcontroller and hopefully in next few months they wont leave any bug with it. They can make it better than cpanel if they get good £€$

fair enough - I will hang on to my Hosting controller then - I've been following your posts over the last few weeks and had gleaned that at one point you (eukhost) were exasperated by certain aspects of HC - particularly the lack of technical support available from the HC company. But if you feel confident in it once more then I will stick with it too. I have gotten used to it now.
I did always find Plesk to take an age perform some tasks but its layout is more windows-like, which might have helped its popularity.
Glad to hear things are going in the right direction.
