Plesk for Reseller
Hi,
I used to use WHC as my Reseller control panel and it used to be very easy to setup accounts and domains for my clients.
i used to be able to just create a new user then when I created a domain I just assigned it to that user. Then user could login and see all there domains under one login
How do I do this under Plesk? It seems that you create a domain then create a user under that domain. Therefore a client will have multiple logins for multiple domains.
I am correct with this? If no then please could you explain it to me.
Thanks

You have to create a client, and then when you create a domain, you place it under a certain client...

You're probably looking at the domain interface.

Honestly, I am unsure. I have asked eUKHost for a reseller account and they set me up with this (I assume) and I have used the username and password given to me. I have clicked every option I can think of so not sure what there is left to do.
I guess my next option is to email support but I already have two requests in with them and I dont like to overload them in fear of them forgetting about one. I will wait for one to be fixed then put in the new support request.
Thanks for you help anyway Flesso.

If you put some screenshots in of where you are, I'm sure I can help you. Also, what version of Plesk is it?

It looks like they've set you up as a client, not a reseller.

Now they are telling me that I have a reseller account,
I have to admit I am getting very frustrated. All this because I wanted to purchase an additional IP (which I paid for a week ago) and now I have 3 support issues logged, 3 accounts on 3 different servers and not even sure what is going on.
Well I have emailed them again to confirm that this is a reseller account, so lets hope they can figure out what they are doing

give me the ticket number. I need to see who the fool is from our billing team who is involved in setup of your account.
This has happened for the second time so I need to figure out who is the one this time.

Ben was the responsible person for this problem. His shift supervisor will talk to him tomorrow.
I've requested our VPS team to reduce some IPs from their allotment and assign to the plesk server hosting your account. We've got more than 15 subnets but subnets holding windows servers are the one's which are running short of IPs and thats the main reason for this delay.

It has been enabled already. Please login and check.
You should have all the options available now which are assigned to reseller accounts.

Well I have been told that I can add "clients" when I have the full reseller account. How do I do this? I can only create "Web Users" at the moment.
Thanks

I still dont think I have a reseller account and I have not heard anything from support.
All I want to do create a new client account and this seems to be impossible for support to help. Please look at my screen shots (attached earlier) and you will see I do not have a reseller account.
I have been told that in a reseller account you can create "Clients", have I been told wrong???

I've requested Andy to give you step by step information to help you setup new client accounts. He will reply to your ticket in few minutes.

Hello Chris,
Your problem has been sorted out and you shall be able to add clients under your reseller account with their separate primary domain name and your clients will even be able to manage that domain using a completely different plesk login. I have replied BVW-92728-343 with detailed steps for doing this.

Sorry Andy, did not get any emails from you.
Any chance you could re-send it.
Thanks
