Problem with my reseller server + joomla !

Hello,

i have a reseller on eukhost.com. I ve installed an e107 website and works fantastic, no problems.

I have installed also joomla, installation was fine but in joomla's admin area i face many problems. One of them is that when i try save a custom page, it redirects me to home page (url.com/index.php) instead of saving the page and returning to the previous page i was on admin area.

Another problem is that when i create a popup link, it shows a blank page! This happended many times, i have created several accounts on my reseller, and installed joomla on 4-5 websites. I had many problems and i decided to install joomla on a reseller from other company to see if there are problems there too. In the other server i face no problems at all! So the problem is not on the way i install on joomla.

Please, if a representative of eukhost sees this topic, reply asap. I am thinking seriously of moving on to another company, because working/developing websites on joomla is my living, i get money for this.

Personally, I would stay away from Joomla.

However, seen as though you are using it (and seem to want to) have you tried opening at ticket at support@eukhost.com or starting a LiveChat with support from the main eUKhost website (http://www.eukhost.com).

I recently played around with Joomla and had problems and support managed to solve my problems within 10 minutes. Have you already contact support? If not I suggest you do as it is a far faster way of getting your technical problems dealt with! - but of course we will always try to help you as much as we can on the forum!

I've included solution for Joomla users. You will need to disable mod_security from your .htaccess to make Joomla components work.

Makers of Joomla have taken our suggestions quite seriously this time as they are coming up with Joomla 1.5 which will erase all existing bugs of Joomla. This new version will be FTP based and henceforth Joomla wont try to automatically create pages.

Sounds good about the problems being irradicated in future versions. You have been busy!

Does that mean the next Joomla will be the first stable, bug free, security vulnerability free version? (or are we not that lucky!) .
