Default Puma Again

Afternoon Chaps. Just wondering if we are heading into some more problems as everything my end has slowed to a crawl again, been fine all day and now it is going so slow my geriatric dog could move faster....lol

Well that answered my question

Hello.

Have just confirmed with the migration team. We have started moving the files now from Puma. That is the reason for the server responding slowly to all service requests. Things would improve very soon. We request you to be a little patient with us at the moment.

Once the migration is over, functions will normalise. We expect the data migration to be completed in 3 hours. Thank you for your co-operation in the meanwhile.

Wow a speedy reply or what !! Well impressed. Thanks for the info Nick I did wonder if this were the case, no worries at least I know what is going on. If you sent an email it must have gone to my partner who is away on business and has no access to his email, Would it be possible to send any further emails to both the email address you have logged for our account and the one that you contact me on? That way I know I am also getting the information, partner has a bit of a butterfly mind and often forgets to share vital information.......lol

Thanks again

you must have lost posts which were made from 4 PM to 6 PM so let me know if you want us to copy your database once again.

I am having such a bad day Sorry Alex I was hiding in a dark cupboard waiting for the posters on my forum to go to bed, and hope they did not notice there was a sizeable chunk of today missing...............they did It was manic on the forum between about 1.00pm and 7.00pm here in Spain I will email you in the morning with the details, so we can hopefully slot it in without them noticing and just tell them they had too much vino ( there is no emoticon to signify the biting on knuckles)

I really appreciate what you guys have done today and if I have, for whatever reason lost todays posts, hey c'est la vie! de nanda! such is life. It is only one day : (migration team)

Morning all,
T'is 8:15am and I'm getting timed out messages when trying to access my work's sites which are on puma (and someone in the office has already enquired as emails down).

When doing a quick ping to the site it's pointing to the new IP address, thus nameservers look correct.

Edit @ 08:45am: Just for reference also mentioned in ticket EMN-40167-144 including a few sites affected listed in the ticket.

* Bump *
Sorry to be a pest but despite the reply to the support ticket saying it should all be sorted the sites are still inaccessible.

Personally I wouldn't mind the downtime as much if it wasn't that it's affecting where I work's sites, and the MD's just arrived in the office and our daily deliveries go out at 10am (sometimes people email their orders).

Hi,

The sites are all resolving from the new server IP. The nameservers are also resolving to the new IP's. I have Matthew re-checking everything.

Thanks, all sorted and just before 10am. Both the head office / main branch where I'm at and our other branch are now recieving emails fine again, for reference both places use fixed IPs.

Those have been unblocked in the firewalls. It happened because of too many authentication failures.

new puma server got listed in spamhuas due to incorrect hostname setup. I have submitted its delisting which should be done in next 30 minutes.
