Random?

Hi
I have recently started to rent some server sapce A Linux Standard Reseller plan. (please forgive me if I'm posting in the wrong place it's my first time.)

I managed to set up an account in WHM and from there I pointed my domain name at
ns64.eukdns.com
ns65.eukdns.com

I then managed to access the sites cpanel and the site using the IP address in my setup info.
Then later that day I could access the site but only if I left out the www. from the site address. after that it was a bit random wether I could get on at all. I'm not sure what if any thing I've done wrong? The site is ment to be h**p://www.nwbikeclub.co.uk (sorry for the * but it wont let me post url's yet *=tt)
But I havent been abel to conect to it using that address at all yet.

Can any body tell me if I have done something wrong please, as I'm totaly stuck.

Hi Vikki,

Welcome to our forum,

I checked the Whois Info for the domain name " nwbikerclub.co.uk " and the domain name seems not to be registered. You will have to register the domain name and then update the name servers of your reseller account.

You can check the Whois Info from Nominet UK.

Please contact our billing department via Live Chat or email to billing [@] eukhost.com and get the domain name registered. The domain name registration charges are £12.00 for two years.

Hi Victoria,

Could you please make sure about the website name, it still shows as unregistered domain? I can see one of your other domains 'nwbiker.co.uk' are having name servers set to: ns4262.ukvpshosting.com & ns4263.ukvpshosting.com. They should be set to ns64.eukdns.com & ns65.eukdns.com at your domain registrar [123-Reg].

Ok First off sorry for the typo It force of habit it was ment to say nwbikeclub.co.uk

I have got my husband to point nwbiker.co.uk to ns64.eukdns.com ns65.eukdns.com

This is where the problem started. We already owned the domain nwbiker.co.uk and were going to point it at the new server but when we registerd with eukhost A Linux Standard Reseller plan it asked us for the domain name so we put nwbiker.co.uk in the box.
This is now not going to be able to be used for the site we wanted so we had to buy another domain name nwbikeclub.co.uk.

Once again sorry for the typo.

No problems at all The domain nwbikeclub.co.uk has name servers setup correctly & works with & without the WWW part Please let us know if you face any further problems with your hosting account

The domain " nwbikeclub.co.uk " is now pointed to the correct DNS and is working for me. Please confirm the same.

Many thanks for the replies. All was okay but the last 3 hours I just keep getting dns errors - will post in the correct section for that
