i got a semi dedicated package on firefly... most of my sites been down for the last 1 hour.. tech supprort said senior admin is doing some work and it will be 30 minute... its been an hour since that 30 minutes passed.. can some one please deal with this..

i dont want to post my links here can some admin please contact me..
i have a live shop and it been down cost me money...

Our CTO had to recompile PHP and Apache on Firefly due to some technical problems with the server. This has been sorted now and all your websites have started working once again.

it is down again..

The system has suffered an unrecoverable database error...

update .. live support have fixed it.. this is the third it went down.. this server was perfect uptil now... can someone please have alook at this

PHP can be awkward at the best of times and I'm sure support will be looking at it as it is probably affecting many people on the server.

I will be monitoring Firefly for next 2 days. I will figure out if there's any problem with the server.

its down again.. this is the second time it went down.. first time it was up pretty fast..and now it is down.. i got a live shop.. and this down time is not helping at all...

I might suggest putting a monitoring service on it. I have a free 14 day trial at www.monitor.checker-design.com if you want to use it.

Firefly will be replaced with a new x3230 Server on coming Saturday. There won't be any dowtime during this migration process. Detailed notification will be sent by our support team to all customers hosted on firefly.

none of my customer been able to use the site.. they keep saying site is timing out as it loads so slow..

i got semi dedicated package.. ... any chance the new server can be installed sooner then saturday or some temp fix..

We can migrate your account on a new server tonight if you wish to do so. You won't loose any data and we will take full responsibility of migration. You may face downtime of 30 minutes as new IP will be assigned to your website.

i think i will wait till saturday when u change the server...
Hope the new server will be better then the currrent one...

one one more thing are ips going to change when u change the server on saturday .
If So We will need to know in advance what ips are being changed as we need to let our payment gateway know about it...

IPs won't change. We will migrate all data and verify everything before we swap IPs of both servers. We will reboot both servers same time which will bring both servers online with swapped IPs.

Your website will start resolving from new Server once we reboot both servers on Saturday.

site been down since 09:38 PM uk time.. live support said senior admin is dealing with it that was an hour ago.. since then no update from live support..

i was told server migration will happen at 1am on 21/04/08. live support confirmed it is uk 1am. and there will be no down time..

Has the migration started early.. if it has then how come there is down time as i was told there wont be,.

If it is something else then please let me know what it is.. and how long this will take..NO point in me keep hitting refresh every three seconds..
