Exclamation What is going on???

For two nights running I have had problems with all websites on my reseller account that draw its data from a MySQL database. After opening tickets and talking on live feed the only help I've received is to check my PHP script, although repeatedly explaining that my scripts are fine and are not the problem.

These websites work fine during the day but come evening, around 10-ish suddenly the scripts cannot retrieve data from their respective databases. Sometimes the database itself can be found but data cannot (causing the php scripts to display symptoms of being trapped in a loop)- other times the database simply cannot be found. When attempting to view any database via PHPMyAdmin - I can gain access to phpMyAdmin, but cannot access the database.

To top all that, I am now finding problems accessing many areas of the Hosting Controller, receiving service unavailable errors when trying to access stats and latterly when trying to access anything at all!!

I have opened yet another ticket about this problem [NOQ-22862-509] but what I don't want is to be told that 'my websites are working fine' once midnight is past and these erratic problems temporarily rectify themselves. There is something very wrong somewhere and I feel that I'm not being taken seriously through the support system.

I am equally frustrated with this server and I have given final 24 hours time to our system admins to fix problems with it. If not then we will replace this server with another high configuration server. There should be no downtime as we will use rebuildexpress to move accounts on new server.

I'll keep you updated with how we proceed tomorrow.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

The problem was with the MySql service installed on the server, it faced few problems starting automatically. It has been fixed permanently. You shouldn't face this problem henceforth. Thank you for your understanding.

Well, I hope that this is resolved but I am peeved that I was repeatedly told that there wasn't a problem when I was telling you that there was! And that, guess what???? The reply from the support ticket some two hours after I opened it rather unhelpfully told me that my website was working fine. There was no acknowledgement of there having been a problem or that there won't be a repeat of the problem.
I have found support to be reasonably good - but the way I was fobbed of with this issue has annoyed me.
Thank you for the forum replies, these are far more comprehensive and supportive than 'support' on this matter.
