Anyone here play any MMORPG's?

I've been on Eve-online for about three years, with the occasional break

Personally I've never been into the dragons and faeries stuff like WoW, but the space aspect of Eve just brings out the geek in me

I play on the MMORPG www.runescape.com. It's really good and they have free and paid memberships available.

My friend has been bugging me to play EVE Online for a while now, right when I'm always about to play, something ussually comes up. LOL

I was gonna play it because it seems good and all. lol I don't like things like WoW or Runescape either...

If you do play it, just don't get sucked into the idea that you have to mine to make money. When I first started everyone was telling me that the best way to make money was to mine. Start out in high sec systems doing some ratting. Within a week you can have damned good fighting character and you can easily take out Cruiser sized rats (None of this will mean much until you've been in game ).

You won't be much good at PvP on your own, but if you've got a buddy in game you can join a gang and help take down battleships. Your guns won't do much, but you can help lock him down and stop him escaping. Its one hell of a buzz blowing up another player

Are you talking about Runescape? Well yeah mining is a good way to get gold points. I have a very good mining level but when I use to be on it every couple of days the main things I use to do is mining and fighting goblins and other creatures. I don't dare go to the North of Runescape yet, my fighting level needs to be at least 100 (okay, maybe 50 or so).

lol, i've got him in the game, and he's a part of some big organization he wanted to put me in, but he told me I'd have to learn to play better lol i'm a soldier...

I guess the only MMORPG I play is Runescape - started in classic a few years ago, took a break of 18 months or so from it as used to play a few games and tried out some others.

I returned to playing runescape - but didn't go back into classic. It is the only game I play now as got so many other things eating up my time I don't have time to get into other games.

I even have a website hosting for runescape help - though it has a long way to go to catch up with some of the ones that have been about since classic.
