If they are talking about Irish Gypsies, then how is that Racism? They are the same race as all other Anglo-Saxon Britons. This is more of a cultural issue.
Also, this representation isn't necessarily a stereotype - I am often offered 'lucky heather' by such stereotypes. I don't see a problem with the episode.

I think especially in entertainment field racism is motivated by internal politics.

You have to understand the "Race" to understant the "Racism".
The Travellers dont do anything to earn money, they want it all handed to them. They dont wanna pay for the houses, they want the council to pay for the houses because its not in their blood to be settled. Same said for education and medical. In this politically correct world they are pushing everything as you can see. Where as the dept that took the complaint should have asked "Well, have you paid for your TV license ?"

Just like the States have gone law suit happy we seem to be going the same way regarding political correctness.

I'm glad we don't tolerate discrimination in this country in any form on any basis but come on..... I mean what about the episodes of "On The Buses" that they show on UK Gold?
