Another clip, this time a 'George Parr' interview from BBF's Between Iraq and a hard place. I find it amusing as the facts presented are worryingly true.

Jeremy Paxman is a legend - he is the only reason that I actually don't moan about the license fee! And here he is in all his glory.
Now Micheal Howard - "Did you threaten to overule him?" .

He did a very good one the other night with one of the BBC directors and their proposals to save money. They got on to value for money in programmes and he turned round and said something like "So you do think things like 'My man boobs and me?' value for money?" The person he was interviewing just didn't know how to respond!

Didn't see that one when it was on. But he has got a point. Jeremy Paxman is the last defence between the news just being turned into a piece of useless rubbish about pointless subjects that nobody really cares about!
He earns the license fee!

I think I'd make a very good Jeremy Paxman substitute as if someone doesn't answer the question, I normally extract the info from them anyway!

Apply to the BBC then please!! Then I'll have 2 reasons why I like playing my license fee. And Jeremy Paxman is not on nearly enough as he should be!

I think I'm a tad too busy to be doing Newsnight every night down in London! Although if they move it up to Manchester, that wouldn't be a problem!

So you wouldn't give everything up for his £1.2 million paycheck a year? .

I'd rather get my degree first. And I do want to go to California next year.... I couldn't do that if I had to be in the UK every weekday!

He gets enough holidays! There are weeks when the assistant presenters take over. £1.2 million a year in profit or £30,000 in debt at the end of Uni......

£30,000 in debt! I would like to be able to have evenings to go out and I'd have to give up all my extra curricular activities! And he doesn't get the chance to live in California for a year!
