Default Cannot find my remote files in browser

I have Linux L-VPS-01, and have set up a domain name. I have successfully transferred my files from my local to the remote site, but when I look for them in my browser nothing appears.
Any help gratefully received, as I have twice sent messages to eukhost's `live chat', but have had no reply other than emails saying my message(s) have been received.
Thanks, Londoner.

Hi Michael,

You have uploaded all your files under your home directory but the default documet root for your domain is set to /home/username/public_html directory and you will need to upload all files that you need to access via browser under public_html directory.
I have moved all your files under public_html directory.
Now you should be able to access your website online.

Also, our VPS team has replied to your ticket regarding the same.

Regards,
Nick J.

Thanks for that, but I still cannot find my website in my browser (which works for all other sites).

I received (again) an email which I have pasted below; does this have a bearing on the problem, or is it a different problem?

"IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
The hostname (vps8103.eukhost.com) resolves to . It should resolve to 213.175.207.158. Please be sure to correct /etc/hosts as well as the 'A' entry in zone file for the domain.

Some are all of these problems can be caused by
/etc/resolv.conf being setup incorrectly. Please check this file if you
believe everything else is correct.

You may be able to
automatically correct this problem by using the ' Add an A entry for your
hostname ' under ' Dns Functions ' in your Web Host Manager "

Any help gratefully received!

Hi,

There is a problem with name server configuration too. I have corrected name servers for your domain and able to access your website http://ramblefest.com/ without any problem.

Try clearing out the 'Cache' of temporary internet files and the 'History' folder on your Web browser, since these can result in the viewing of older, non-updated versions of your Web site. Also, try hitting the 'refresh' or 'reload' button a few times.

You have received hostname warning because VPS was having default hostname set. I have configured hostname using your own domain name
and added dns "A" record for the same to fix the hostname warning.

Do you get an error message or just a blank screen?
