can't connect to my eukhosted site - UK Web Hosting | Dedicated Server Windows and Linux VPS Forum

Hi,

I haven't been able to connect to my eukhost account since Saturday morning (my time) via web and ftp. I can connect everywhere else...

At first I thought it was a problem with my ISP's dns.. but nope.

I did everything: flushed dns, reset everything i can over at netsh, bombarded my isp with angry calls.. only to be told that nothing's been changed in their settings.

I did a tracert and got this:

TCPTraceroute goes through the firewall successfully you will get perfect trace using tcptraceroute. there's absolutely no problem with routing of your server as disabling normal traceroute is always helpful to stay away from any sort of DDoS attack.

(Note to mods: Can this post be pinned somewhere as it's becoming a frequently asked question.)

It might be worth using the support template as it helps the techies to work out what web site hosting it is etc.

A lot can happen in just over two hours but I've just visited your website hosting without problem — maybe your problem was local, maybe it wasn't ...

In these sorts of circumstances, I would recommend you open a LiveChat session with Support to get a quick response, rather than post in the forum — sometimes you'll not get an immediate answer on LiveChat but it's worth a try.

Please open a ticket with 'support [at] eukhost.com' to get the problem sorted fast. The live chat operators will probably require you to open a ticket anyway.
