Daily problems withWebsite Hosting
I know there have been issues that you guys have had to deal with but I'm feeling a bit of a lemon having to keep sending tickets for the same things happening each day.
Firstly ftp allows full access for a period then resorts to read only. The mail server hangs during periods. TheWebsite Hosting drops altogether and there's no way of getting access to cpanel. Currently theWebsite Hosting keeps reverting to the front page no matter what link you attempt.
I guess we're all pretty understanding, particularly after an attack but my otherWebsite Hosting with you (less important) is rolling along happy as Larry. Is there an end in sight?

I'm having similar issues with my forum. Redirects to home page, my skins aren't working, most functions are not working, can't post, etc. Terrible.

Add the following to your .htaccess file:
SecFilterEngine Off

That should sort your redirect problems out. From what I know, this was caused by new security measures. As for the other problems, again I think this may be security measures.

thanks very much - works again!
But then: why aren't we contacted when these changes are made if the consequences are that important?

My point exactly ! Why did I wake up to a broken forum, and why was I left to my own wits to figure out the problem ?

becasue they are secretly testing our ability to figure out complex problems, the fastest of you will be abducted by aliens in the near future. I on the other hand am completely safe as it took me hours to fix this problem with just two simple lines of code.

Hmmm.. I not sure about that, as far as intelligence goes, the fact that you were able to find the help forum puts you in the top 5% !
I may have found a fix to the outer space abduction theory, simply create a file
$ < aliens=false
$ < abductions =0
# < variable=tin+foil+helmet
Name alienprotection.txt and upload to server

smilies should work on our forum as we don't have mod_security on our server. none of our webpages or directories have more than 644 permission and we have only forum and billing system running on this server so we don't need mod_security on our server as all other ports besides http and named are closed on our server.

I think she was refering to the fact that when you click "Post Reply" on any forum topic all the smilies to the right of the reply box have red x's.

I don't get the red x's but the smilietext (no graphics) in the "Resulting Graphic" column. I can see graphic for "Confused" and "Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)" - that's all.

Yes, thats the same as me. Thats what I meant. In Internet Explorer it displays a red x and then the alt text for the image.

But I have noticed some of the others have stoped working now that used to work like the normal smile and the wink. Is anybody else having this problem as well?
