Domain name transfer

Hi folks,

I've recently tried to transfer an existing domain to EUKHOST, as a parked domain on an existing account - http://www.braeheadgolfclub.co.uk - and have got myself a bit confused

I was transferring http://www.delphwynd.co.uk from a hosting account with PlusNet and used a control panel with them to switch the IPSTAG to eNom as I'd read. A WHOIS check shows that this has been picked up, but the nameservers are still with PlusNet. Yesterday, they closed my account as I'd switched to another ISP as I'd requested and I'd assumed that things would transfer over to EUKHOST then. It looks like that's not the case though, and I can't access the domain and I'm not receiving emails to the account either (or, at least, I can't access them) I've tried setting up my normal email client to check the account, but it times out with 'login failed' error.

Can someone please advise me of a possible resolution to this issue, or point me in the right direction at least?

Hi,

Please open a ticket with support@eukhost.com. You have done everything correctly, eUKhost just need to manually except the domain at their end. After that, everything should be fine.

We are expecting your domain name to show up in our account in next couple of hours so once that goes through then we will point it to your existing account.

Thanks for that, looks like progress in the right direction. I've set up a holding page within the new parked domain's directory, so I assume once that starts to show, then I should be able to access email and the like...?

Your domain name has successfully arrived in our registration and it has been pointed to your existing account for braeheadgolfclub.co.uk. You can proceed to add the new domain as addon domain from your control panel and then you can setup a separate website hosting for delphwynd.co.uk as well as separate mailboxes.
