Default E-mail died!

1) Domain Name: smgdesign.org, smgdesign.co.uk, healthcarea2zcommunity.org, normaterry.com, rocwelding.co.uk, stageworksstudio.co.uk, stardancewear.co.uk, starliteroadshow.com

2) Server Name and IP address:Server Name not know, IP: 78.129.133.140

3) Description of problem: Mail server has gone down. None of the accounts can send and receive

4) Anything you might have done which may have caused the problem: Nothing, not been near control panel all day!! (First time in ages!)

5) Anything you have done already, to try and resolve the problem: Nothing, don't have privileges to touch it!

6) Any additional information you think is relevant: I have looked at all of the domains and they all have the same problem so it isn't just a config error in a domain. Also, ticketing from Plesk fails when try to submit help.

Many thanks in advance, hope you will rspond speedily on here, not used this forum before as i normally use the ticketing but as i said before that has gone down! Cheers

Hi,

Please open ticket from http://support.eukhost or email 'windows [at] eukhost.com' regarding this issue. Our main helpdesk is at http://support.eukhost.com and the one which is built into the control panel is not monitored.

This has been sorted. One customer had autoresponder setup on his domain which was for the catchall account. We have disabled his autoresponder as it was misused by some spammers. Autoresponder allows spammers to use your email address as "reply-to" and "error-to" email address in their spamming scripts and your domain is constantly bombarded with all the bonceback notifications as well as mailer identification connections.

Email service is back to normal on this server.

They need to be Intelligent to stay in Business. Some of the leading spammers should be felicitated with Nobel award as they have changed online Industry in past couple of years. Things could have never improved if spammers / hackers were not in this system.

Thats a good point. Well most hackers / spammers are in front of their computer 24/7 trying out new methods till they finally have a great idea or get something to work. Hence the reason they make good security / spam experts to take onto a business team!
