Just wondering if anyone from eukhosts could do a check for me. I have e107 running on my domain www.carrowroad.net I also have a tester copy running on another server. both installed within an our of each other, and running the same database back up using the same themes and settings.

Yet in the one listed above, I have a quirky little problem when I try and assign icons for catagories for different sections in the admin they won't work and send me to the index page of website hosting. Also this happens with other actions I try and do.

I have re-installed everything twice, checked the files but still it happens, I have contacted the authors of the code they have had a look and at a loss to explain why. It works perfectly on the tester website hosting.

My question is there anything in the way it is set up server side that could be causing this ? I only have one re-direct set which isn't effecting anything near the folders/files in question.

Any ideas would certainly be appeciated.

Hi gordo

If you read through this post: has some one been bashing and hacking again?

It may help this quirk - the security update stoped certain forms of header redirects from working, but the .htaccess bypass solves this...

Have you tried opening a ticket with support - support@eukhost.com .

I'm sure they will be able to get to the bottom of the problem. If it is server side and your on a shared plan it will be hard to fix it yourself as it could have been caused by an update or something else.

yea it was dam frustrating more than anything. after putting hours into the website hosting I just wanted to be able to add some finishing touches (god sound like a Lawrence Llewyn Bowen) like images for different article catagories and make some custom menu/pages.

thanks there is a lot of competition with about 30 website hostings just on Norwich alone

I bet, I have tried to do footballing website hostings before, in general and for specific teams although these were my earlier attempts and have since fallen off the 'Net and into oblivion!!

Your website hosting looks good though - so keep it up!!
