Unhappy ftp problems

Hi - is anyone else having problems connecting to agusta via ftp? All I get are time outs for the last few days. Resetting passwords does nothing.

Online help assure me that it all works from their end. But then they ask me to try a test connection they set up and my PC hangs completely... I know that I haven't changed anything!

Help... if you can please...

OK - I have raised ticket no GPZ-14124-237 this morning. Using Filezilla I managed two brief connections this morning (as well as many failures) but both took a long time (c3 minutes) to make the connection and then seemed to hang...

Out of interest, can someone please explain the difference (if any) between Online Chat help and raising a ticket?

I believe online chat is 'fontline support' where suppport is provided via accessing interfaces etc., whereas support tickets can easily be picked up by technicians etc. who physically look at the servers.

those who answer livechats don't get sufficient time to work on complicated technical problems as customers keep on asking for status update for their problems so livechat staff is more focussed on keeping customers informed.

Helpdesk staff is focussed on server side problems and no one bothers them till they sort a specific problem so that gives them comfort to focus on tickets and keep servers well managed.

Thanks everyone... I tried again a day later and, with no changes my end, it worked again... then the e-mail stopped for an hour!
