Gallery2 Hosting
What is the correct path to "Directory to ImageMagick/GraphicsMagick binaries:"
I've tried /usr/bin/ which is the default one listed and aslo /usr/local/bin as suggested in a prevous post but neither work
The paths for FFmpeg and NetPBM are also incorrect as set by default
Thanks

Directory to ImageMagick/GraphicsMagick binaries: /usr/bin/convert
I would suggest you to use GD2 instead of ImageMagick because both of them perform th same action. Imagemagik requires exec() enabled and it is disabled on the servers of eUKhost for security reasons.

I tried those but got:
The path you entered is not a valid directory or is not accessible.

If you face any problem after that you can open a ticket at http://support.eukhost.com/ and mention the exact URL where you are getting those errors

to use ImageMagick you need to put /usr/bin in the path field and nothing else. This should work and if it doesn't work then you will need to open a ticket from our helpdesk to get Image::Magick module installed on the server.

It's very unlikely that they will be able to do this on a shared server due to the other customers. I believe that you would have to upgrade your account to do this but if you do want to ask anyway just to check you can contact support, open a ticket, or wait for a response here.
Hope that helps .

it wont be possible to offer ffmpeg on shared server. You will need to consider VPS Hosting to have ffmpeg enabled as it needs manual compilation of Apache.

OK, it's always worth asking. My last hosts had it installed on a shared server though by default.

Unfortunately different hosts have different things installed by default on their shared servers. Unlucky .

I am not sure if we have it installed on any of our servers but you can open a ticket with our support team. Our technical people will go through it and if anyone has installed ffmpeg on any of our shared servers then they will reply to your ticket.
