Default Having speed issues

hi,

I am having very slow loading during (mainly) the times around 4to5pm untill around 11pm. I do understand they are the busy times for the UK but somtimes the site gets so slow its a anoyance to use.

Can anything be done about this ?, I have contacted the support team a few times about this when we first joined ( and they always manage to fix it) it will then run ok for a while, then back to slow page loads again (I had given up with contacting you about it every time it happens but now I am getting very frustrated with it, we are loosing customers.

It is not our isp (as one of the support team said) because we have no problems accessing any other site.

Can you please advise/help ?

All the best,
Steve

Hi,

Why don't you try and submit a support ticket. I am sure they would respond you asap with the best possible solution.

By the way, sometimes at peak hours the problem might occur due to ISP also, but cannot really predict what the problem might be, let eUK guys take care of it.

You might even choose to upgrade your plan, incase you are on a shared account. Its better to have a VPS as they offer good resources with it.

Keep us posted on the progress.

Hi Steve,

Not sure as to how was the post left unanswered.

I have checked and you have placed an email at support[@]eukhost.com (ref :: DNO-33498-476). You can consider a "Business Web Hosting" package for your domain where you should not face any problem frequently as only limited websites are added on this server.

You may like to have a look at Business Hosting.

If you have any issues please reopen the same ticket.

Hope this helps

Default hi

hello,
thanks for your replies. I opend a support ticket and just got a reply.

did not help mutch though, the reply was "servers are running ok at the moment" and pointing me to a Business Web Hosting package. this would be nice if we could afford £20.00 a month (at the moment we are paying around £60 - £70 a year).

what use is advertising 99.95% uptime guarantee if the page can take 20 seconds and over to load, most customers will just give up waiting.

So how does a new company expect to grow on the web when the cheaper packages (which we can only afford at the moment) are just to slow for the customers.

If the site ran faster we would (possably) get more customers and then be able to afford the busisness package.

Maybe its time to look for another host.

thanks for your time.

If you are not planning to go with Business Hosting, what we can do is migrate your account on some other shared server. Reply to the same ticket so that we can proceed with the migration.

If you have any further questions then please post them here.

My speed is variable but i think the problem is with my ISP. I have written to my ISP and waiting to hear back. As soon as I do I will let you know what they said.
