You're welcome Gary.
I had an impression, that when speaking of multiple domains, you had a
Linux reseller hosting package with us, where there is a separate domain level activation for the SA email filtering feature, for the domains you host/resell. I see that you've a shared hosting account, hence one main domain [one shared hosting package = 1 main domain] in your cPanel control panel & several sub-domains, addon domains & parked domains added to this main domain.
SA when activated for this main domain, would be enabled by default for the rest of these [
addon, sub, parked] domains too. There is no way to disable them from the cPanel control panel interface.
What I can recommend now is to enable the SA from the control panel which can be found under the "
Mail" category. Once done, you can create filters from the "
Account level filtering" option available in the same "
Mail" category. Furthermore, if you enable the "
SpamBox" option, it will deliver any emails identified as spam by SA into a separate mail folder named "
spam".
Most importantly, make sure that the "
Auto deletion of emails" or "
Discard" option is turned off/disabled, this can delete any legitimate which is considered as spam [in cases of false positives]. Please let us know if you need any further help with any of the SpamAssassin features, we'd be more than happy to assist
