Angry Images, scripts not working... whats going on?

Ok everything was oki this morning - now various pages aren't loading correctly, images aren't loading and scripts aren't working correctly!

I have 2 wordpress installations running and neither have the themes appearing correctly, i also run various versions of the phplinkdirectory script and there appears to be a number of issues with those not working.

Oh and live chat doens't appear to be working either...

Whats going on? Is anyone else experiencing similar problems?

http://www.voisd.com (1 image not loading under stats box - right)
http://www.voisd.com/blog (theme and positioning disappeared)
http://skins.voisd.com (theme and positioning disappeared)

Also when navigating around specific pages some return user to the index page, this issue also appears to be occuring in admin areas as well...

Very strange...

This is true also when attempting to access the url for style sheet or any of the images - you are returned to the site-index page. Dunno why but these symptoms might help someone diagnose the problem. Possibly a file permissions problem? Admittedly that seems unlikely.

well my initial thought was perhaps a .htaccess issue for the redirects to home page... either way i haven't touched or changed anything...

anyways its an hour since i posted the above line and everything seems to have resolved itself... totally wierd!

Nope. It was due to mod_security.

We've spent more than an hour to find out what rule it was but there was no sign of success. Finally we copied complete set of mod_security from other server and problem got sorted..

I've also got the same problem I think, see the support ticket I've filled for the subdomains I've noticed it occuring on.

On the subdomains affected the CSS isn't loading (I did noticed they used @import). Similarly graphics aren't loading, the paths are fine however trying to enter the path as a URL results in being redirected back to the root of that subdomain. I've checked the htaccess files and they haven't been touched for days. The problem occured just over an hour ago for me, based on a chat I had with someone in the USA whom had been using the website hosting.

EDIT thought: Is Cpanel using auto-updates? As if it's automatically getting and installing the updates that might explain why once fixed the first time it re-occcured.

This problem is now also evident on 64.38.46.226.

http://www.sayonara.info/blog/ is having image problems, and all internal URLs redirect back here.

Scripts running under http://www.sayonara.info/cgi-bin/ are redirecting as well.

Hi, I also have the same problem. Some of the pages work but some don't. The URL I'm finding this happening to is http://www.ranges.tellivision.co.uk/ - specifically the members area and persona pages - I keep getting redirected to the index page.

This problem occured as secfilter was enabled in mod_security. It has been disabled now.

There should be no problems with 64.38.46.226. 64.38.20.218 has got some problems which are being tackled but website hostings are working fine and there's no problem to any service running on any of this 2 servers.

Finally all problems with 64.38.20.218( jaguar.eukhost.com ) are sorted now.

rootkit was found on the server which was removed. Kernel was upgraded and server got rebooted with the new kernel. mod_security rules were tweaked with some new rules.

Some additional server hardening was performed and the server is in good shape now. There should be no issues with this server henceforth.

64.38.46.226 ( hawk.eukhost.com ) had no other problems and there was only one rule of mod_security which resulted in problems for images.

I don't see any problem with any of your website hostings. Can you guide me through right direction to check the problem ?

The problem is also back on 64.38.46.226.

It is not affecting web pages, but it is redirecting cgi scripts.
