Unhappy IMAP/Outlook problems ongoing

Since about Mid September when eUKhost upgraded their servers (coincidence?), I have had major problems retrieving mail in Outlook using IMAP.

I keep getting time outs, and Outlook complaining that it cannot connect to the server.

Is anybody else having these problems? It is not an ISP/port block issue since it is a problem on absolutely any ISP, and furthermore, sometimes it works and sometimes it does not (though more often than not it does not).

eUKhost says there is no problem and it must be an ISP issue... therefore I really want to know if any other members are having similar problems...

Going insane!!!

Hello Sanjay,

I've had a look at Viking just now and I dont see any existing problem with Viking. Viking is now running with our new Q6600 Servers so there absolutely nothing wrong with Viking.

You have a Dedicated IP for your website so there must be some confusion with the server address to be defined in IMAP connection string so please use your domain name only in connection string instead of mail.yourdomain.com as that might be the problem.
