IMAP problems

3) Description of problem:IMAP connections - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

4) Anything you might have done which may have caused the problem: Changed from POP3 to IMAP.

5) Anything you have done already, to try and resolve the problem: Tried playing with settings.

6) Any additional information you think is relevant:
I changed a couple of my email addresses from POP3 to IMAP last week. Since then, I can sometimes connect, sometimes not (from Apple Mail). One of the emails is SSL, one isn't, but this makes no difference. I could connect to them yesterday, but not today.
I am using imap on other accounts (such as gmail) without problem. I can log into webmail via cpanel ok.

I've changed one of the accounts to non-SSL and that worked.

I'll keep an eye on it.

I'd rather use SSL if possible.
