Question Installing Zend optimizer

Sorry to be a pain, but I'm hoping to try a CMS which uses Zend optimizer in order to run(and mySQL and php) and there are 1 or 2 refs to Zend in these pages but nothing specific enough for me. Can someone point me to the place on cPanel where this can be done? Or give any info really.
Thanks
John

Are you on shared or VPS/dedicated? If you're on shared it should be installed as it is; if you are on shared and want to check if it's installed then follow the instructions here: Finding Out PHP Version and Installed PHP Components On Your Server - if Zend is installed it will come up on the page and the version will be displayed as well. If it isn't installed then you will have to open a ticket with 'support [at] eukhost.com' or from the helpdesk at http://support.eukhost.com. If you are on VPS/dedicated then follow the instructions here: http://www.webhostgear.com/184.html - that is how to install Zend Optimizer via SSH on Linux. One last note: AFAIK is cannot be done from cPanel/WHM.

Sorry flesso, you lost me, but assuming that Zend is installed(and I've no reason to suppose it isn't) then the next thing specified by the CMS author is that if mySQL is version 5 then strict mode should be disabled. How does one get to anywhere that shows this option. I gather that we have MySQL5 so I need to attend to this. It also says that it is ENABLED by default.
Cheers
John
