Default Joomla 1.5 through Fantastico

Are there any plan to allow installation of Joomla 1.5 through Fantastico?

Let me know. Eric

The versions for software within Fantastico are controlled by the Fantastico Vendors and not by eUKhost. Newer versions of software will only appear in Fantastico when Fantastico have released the new version.

You can install latest version of Joomla by downloading it from their website and then uploading on your website for installation. Netenberg(developers of Fantastico) takes some time to include latest version of respective installers and there's no way for us to change anything from our end.

I think the Fantastico developers like to see that new versions of software and scripts pass their tests for stability and quality and see if there are any major problems before they are added into Fantastico. Unless you need something specifically from Joomla! 1.5 then I would recommend just waiting till your Fantastico control panel says that there is an update available and then you can update automatically (especially if you don't have a lot of knowledge regarding installing scripts manually).

cPanel / Whm / Fantastico would need upgrading to bring it in line with the latest stable release

We have enabled automatic updates for Fantastico on all our servers. We have latest version of all scripts provided within Fantastico.

Default Joomla 1.5.1

I have 2 accounts with eukhost:
1. www.douce-france.co.uk (runs cPanel 11)
2. www.city-experts.com (runs cPanel 10)

On the 1st account installation of Jomla 1.5 is avaible but not on the second account.

The automated updates are enabled on the server your account is hosted on [ie: edinburgh.eukhost.com] hence now you'd be able to use latest scripts via Fantastico.

Default Joomla 1.5.1

I noticed that you updated Fantastico for (city-experts.com), and I can now install Joomla 1.0.14 but there is no way to install Joomla 1.5.1. Is this linked to the fact that the account is running cPanel 10 (instead of 11)?

Cheers. Eric

In the general server information it says:
cPanel Build 11.18.1-RELEASE 20683

However in the banner of interface it says cPanel 10 (see picture) and the interface looks much different to the one that I have with my other account (douce-france.co.uk).

May be the Skin for both the control panels are not same. I am not sure if you can achieve this at your end. If not, then you can just ask one of the Linux techs on live chat and they should be able to change the skin for you.
