The server 78.129.128.20 (typhoon.eukhost.com) seemed to have an unplanned outage which now seems to have got resolved.

It came back on last night after about an hour but I've just checked it this morning at 10am and it's offline again?!

Hope you got it all sorted. Sometimes a website can go down from time to time for a little while as nothings perfect

It's really tempting to put the link for the uptime on my server here just to prove that point wrong

Your website is one example of a website. There are millions of websites. I said sometimes lol Plus unless your website is pinged every second you cannot guarentee it has been up as long as it says it is without even a small outage. For example my website is checked every 10 minutes - but it could be down for 9 and half minutes in between checks .

Mine is checked every 2 minutes - which to be honest should produce reliable results.

Oh I don't doubt it. Was just saying that sometimes some websites go down for reasons beyond our control or because there is a problem in our own local area as opposed to the local area of the server .

True

If the server was as useless as my wireless internet connection, it would be down all the time

Anyway, lets get back to topic
